Well I'm pleased we're infront and Benteke was good. However we were rubbish and the entire midfield was fucking dreadful and a couple should be hooked. There is no reason on earth why Delph is in front of Ireland.

January cannot come fast enough midfield though. Sell Bent and buy 2 big, hard, strong midfielders. A bit like that Tettey for them, but better. 8 million on each, and get the side more solid FFS.

Solid is one thing, but we need to keep the ball and create chances with possession. The way to do that is a form of three in midfield, almost any version would do, and play Ireland/Bannan/both.

In a crap game between two poor teams low on confidence I'd say Norwich have been more creative but haven't been able to finish, whereas we've looked pretty dismal except for Guzan and Benteke but have stuck away the one clear cut chance we made.

We've given the ball away so much it's untrue.  But what's most alarming is that the general quality of our players seems so low.

Benteke by far the best player , but yes we owe Brad for that one.

For me KEA can't play his own game because he is constantly worrying about Delph.

Yeah someone posted that it was Bennett but I thought it was Holman especially as he was first to Benteke to celebrate.

Delph, Albrighton, Holman and KEA have all been awful. I'm more patient with the latter two though, Albrighton has never shown anything since his first 6 months for the club.

Westwood cannot be worse than Delph. Him and Ireland for Albrighton and Delph for me. Pull Gabby to the right, go with 1 up with Holman and Gabby getting forward as much as they can.

Then Ireland, Westwood and KEA all in proper centre mid roles.
