I think we might get a result here.  Fulham are decent, but not good enough that they aren't prone to inconsistency, so a performance like Swansea at home or Man City away will be enough to get at least a draw.  We know this will be an up and down season and I think we're due one of the 'ups' tomorrow.

1-2.  Bent to start and score.

Any update on IKEA ?

Yes it's a mass market furniture store where you can waste your whole Saturday looking for that elusive bargain!

Good news, so we have more or less a full strength side. Be really interested to see who Lambert plays in midfield and up front. The defence is effectively picking itself albeit I can see Given coming back in soon.

I'm optimistically going for a Villa win.  Me and the boy going in the Neutral end.  Any idea if colours are frowned upon in there?
Back again in a fortnight for the Everton game with my daughter, who unfortunatley takes after her Mum!

Fulham are a good side, play some terrific football, but I think this could just be another one of those landmark performances from us that sets a new standard of play for our season, like Newcastle and then Swansea. We're long overdue an away win (frankly, a win full-stop), and this could well be it. High-scoring as well I think, seeing as attacking but not defending are very much ours and Fulham's strengths. 3-1 or a nervy 3-2 to us I think.

Bennett, El Ahmadi and Ireland all expected to be fit, but Clark faces late fitness test.

3-1 Villa, Bent x2 & Ireland

If Berbatov is fit and on form then we'll probably lose.

I don't think Fulham are that special without Dembele and Dempsey. Yes, they've got Berbatov but realistically, they're just hard workers with a slight bit of forward quality. Villa were the better team at Tottenham for a large portion of the game and they're a million times better than Fulham. This game is easily winnable, it's just a matter of us taking the chances that will come.
