Two interesting comments from friends of Fulham forum:

If England where a club side, who would they be?

England would be Aston Villa. A very long time ago they were considered to be the best, yet slipped down into mid-table dross with the occasional flirt of optimism that usually ends in vain. The football now is rather dull and everyone laughs when they don't win.

And their match thread

If we can't dominate Villa at the Cottage, then we should be worried the entire season. I think we  win it 3-1 in a tjl special.

2-0 win

Benteke and Bent with the goals, as I've mentioned elsewhere, we're not far away from being a decent side, we just need a few things to go our way and for the chances we get to be taken.  Benteke is in good form after 2 in 2 for Belgium so hopefully he can bring that confidence back with him.

It is, although the football is getting less dull now at least.

I don't agree this is a must win game. A draw would be a good result

I haven't seen any official  suggestion kea is injured. Is that right? Any news on Bennett and Ireland?

I think benteke and bent up front

The official site has a story up today with Delph talking about how KEA is very good. No mention of an injury so far.

I didn't realise Fulham laughed everytime we lost tbh, didn't think they'd pay the slightest bit of attention to us

Based on last season yes and was only thinking the same last night.  Shit at passing, virtually no movement off the ball, panic in possession and hoof.

Not this season though.

As an aside, I thought this was sold out? Why does it not say that on the club site when Swindon says sold out?

Aren't Villa fans known to be deluded, fickle, miserable Brummies?  That's probably why they laugh.  We do the same to Spurs.

Guzan
Lowton Vlaar Clark Bennett
Holman KEA Delph Agbonlahor
Bent Benteke

Subs, Given, Lichaj, Albrighton, Bannan, Westwood, N'Zogbia, Weimann

Missing out, Bowery, Baker, Herd

I'll go 1-1, Bent
