Think there is something in the Lerner intends to sell theory. The gamble is we survive and with a now manageable wage bill and increased revenue we are an attractive proposition for a prospective buyer.
The risk is we go down and then so does the price but he has probably factored that in as a risk already and made his call.

We paid nearly 8 million for Warnock and let him go for feck all, more poor decisions from the club.

Surprised they havn't got rid of Given yet to get even more off the wage bill.

I think Warnock was out of contract at the end of the season.
