Jim White's on the roof of the SSN building. Here's hoping for a really strong blast of wind.

I'm glad i'm not watching it, it sounds horrendous.

Come on clampy, just because you are hiding behind the sofa it still counts.

There is always a happy medium. Granted I dont want the porn twats or Dave bloody whelan, but when the club is spiralling out of control and staring into the abyss, the passengers in the plane need to know the pilots are still holding the controls and not assuming the crash stance with their head between their legs.

Holding the controls you say.

The thing is they're not even pilots and they're not on the plane in any case.

We dont really need a striker but so why not Saha just released by Sunderland get him short term deal?

Because we dont need a striker.

But we do need a winger Eastie or anything that resembles a winger. Bakary Sako does a good impression of a winger.

May i point you my friend in the direction of samir carruthers - confident , pacey , runs at people , and good delivery yet he doesnt get a sniff .

Yes I agree his complete lack of playing time seems very strange indeed

I'm a wee bit baffled by this too.  Lambert loves his young guns and Carruthers was showing real promise last season, very surprised he's not made an appearance in this one.
He looks promising but the last thing this team needs is more kids.

You don't think there's a happy medium between spending ridiculous amounts of money like QPR, and buying some unknown French kid from a crap division 2 team?  We are easily the worst team in the league on current form, and one more inexperienced kid, welcome as he is, isn't going to be enough to keep us up.
They do aftab. Whatever happens from now until midnight the people running this club are running it into the ground.
There isnt a clue between them and I just hope we can survive long enough to pass to more properly prepared, knowledgeable and dedicated stewardship.

I dont want to risk the financial welfare of this club, I just want to see it protected properly.
This window is the one real chance left to affect matters in our favour. After this we have to hope a squad of kids and inconsistent senior players pull something out of the bag.
I'm not giving up but I want a fighting chance.

And I'm sorry to say but I want Randy to reconsider being custodian of this great club because I dont think he's up to the job.
The communication is bollocks too. Its unforgiveable. I can cope with being shit and making mistakes but being blanked isnt cricket to be honest.
I have no issue with you're comments gents however  in January we  exist in an unreal  market place. Agents are touting has beens and lazy sods for enormous  figures both for wages and transfer fee. There is not much quality about and as far as I know January signing either fail or contribute in the following season. We have got ourselves in a huge pickle and I am not sure spending silly money  will help us now. We will either do it with what we have or......
I can defend Lerner and Failkner as I think their "plan" if any is ruining us but they don't need to go mad in this window.

Well it doesn't look like Bent's going so that's like a new signing!

No?      I'll get my coat.

Cus he's a winger, that's why he's not playing him. Lambert doesn't do wingers.

I've a mate who's a pilot based out in Dubai.  He told me about one of the young Emirate pilots who was training with his company.  In a particular incident, this young Emirate, upon coming in to land a Boeing, decided to let go of the flight controls at about 100m of altitude whilst saying "insh'allah"...bloody nuts!

Don't disagree with you hilts, I'm just very surprised, considering PL's selection policy and philosophy, that he hasn't featured.

Yeah and look how often we lack width. Just because the English game is becoming more continental doesn't mean there's not room for the old style; even if it's only as a Plan B.

4-4-2 with wingers that cover the full backs is probably the most solid we could hope to be.

There is always a happy medium.

I was walking down the street and saw Derek Acorah laughing. So I punched him. In. The. Face. I was arrested and charged with striking a happy medium.
