We dont really need a striker but so why not Saha just released by Sunderland get him short term deal?

Because we dont need a striker.

But we do need a winger Eastie or anything that resembles a winger. Bakary Sako does a good impression of a winger.

Surely NRC on a free to the end of the season is a good idea!?
I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree.  It's a bit desperate but that's precisely where we are.

Jim White's on the roof of the SSN building. Here's hoping for a really strong blast of wind.

Yes and he also admitted that he was up there with Natalie Sawyer!!  Wonder what Sam Matterface makes of that if he hears about it.

I've posted on here before that, I've been fortunate enough to see the Villa win the lot in my lifetime.  That said it doesn't stop my desire to see them win the lot again.  When we won the European Cup, I had a mate who was as mad about the Villa as I was and he made the statement that having now seen them win everything he didn't care if he never went and watched them again.  I never understood that then and I don't understand it now.

It seems this great club of ours is being run into the ground, and begs the question; when does the real asset stripping begin.  Even our non-tangible assets are at risk now we are being held up as the football national joke.  As has been stated where are the future generation of supporters coming from? I really, really despair.

May i point you my friend in the direction of samir carruthers - confident , pacey , runs at people , and good delivery yet he doesnt get a sniff .

Just means I can go home and chill and not have to listen or watch anything to do with football (unless Millie Clode comes on)

I'm a wee bit baffled by this too.  Lambert loves his young guns and Carruthers was showing real promise last season, very surprised he's not made an appearance in this one.
