We dont really need a striker but so why not Saha just released by Sunderland get him short term deal?

What's the point, equivalent of a man with no cock having the softest silkiest hands in the world.

If Bent is going, then yeah I suppose he'd do until the end of the season.

Good grief, I had no idea football fans were so thin-skinned.  Or can we only dish it out?

Quite, it seems the anger has turned from the players/club to the BBC. Ridiculous.
Why don't they just report the facts rather than being sarcastic?  Are they just trying to be more "hip"?  Anyway, I'll say no more on the subject.  Back on topic...

They do aftab. Whatever happens from now until midnight the people running this club are running it into the ground.
There isnt a clue between them and I just hope we can survive long enough to pass to more properly prepared, knowledgeable and dedicated stewardship.

I dont want to risk the financial welfare of this club, I just want to see it protected properly.
This window is the one real chance left to affect matters in our favour. After this we have to hope a squad of kids and inconsistent senior players pull something out of the bag.
I'm not giving up but I want a fighting chance.

And I'm sorry to say but I want Randy to reconsider being custodian of this great club because I dont think he's up to the job.
The communication is bollocks too. Its unforgiveable. I can cope with being shit and making mistakes but being blanked isnt cricket to be honest.

While I agree with the majority of your post the communication thing pisses me off, when Lerner took over most of us celebrated the fact that he he stayed out of the limelight unlike the Porn brothers on the other side of the city. I don't understand the clamour to be hearing from the owner.

I dont want to hear from him as such. I just want better communication. Which to me is more than a load of guff on the website written by some buffoon who cant write six words without using "classy" or x,y and z are determined to get back to winning ways after the latest defeat, I mean meaningful communication.

Well at least we were there when we won the league and european cup , they will never take our great memories from us .

well, yeah, they'll never take the memeories from any Villa fan who's older than 32. In fact, if the earliest age you can remember is about 5 or 6, anyone younger than 38 has no memories of Villa being great at all. Poor bleeders.

Anyone under that age who watches the Villa must be...what's the opposite of a glory hunter? Grief hunter?

My friend who has been taking his son to the Villa since he was 3 said to him the other day."Dad I'll always like the Villa but I think I want to support Man Utd now,we always lose" He now plays as ManU on his PSP and has asked to change the colours in his room. This is from a lad who has been going week in,week out and is 8 now.I've told him to write to the club so they know that they are competely losing the next generation of supporters

You don't work for the BBC do you?
No, but as a talentless tosser and druggie I really ought to.

That'll be me then, although I do have great memories of the villa from about 18-20 years ago, probably some of the best from my teenage years...standing in the holte, the goal crush, hugging strangers and doing the disco...very happy memories.

Sign him to sell him to raise transfer cash.

The oldest Championship manager trick in the book ;)

Wow if that is it. Just wow. A centre back was imperative today.

We'd be fooked.

Jim White's on the roof of the SSN building. Here's hoping for a really strong blast of wind.
