Well at least we were there when we won the league and european cup , they will never take our great memories from us .

We are hurt but very proud of our wonderful club - we will be back !

We haven't gone anywhere yet!

I heard Dave Woodhall is trying to do a late deal to transfer Eastie to another forum his negativity is damaging squad morale ;D

The BBC can fuck off. If it was subscription then no one would pay a penny to watch the shite they peddle. Very lucky they're funded by basically a tax to keep them going and talentless tossers and druggies in multi million pound contracts.

They do aftab. Whatever happens from now until midnight the people running this club are running it into the ground.
There isnt a clue between them and I just hope we can survive long enough to pass to more properly prepared, knowledgeable and dedicated stewardship.

I dont want to risk the financial welfare of this club, I just want to see it protected properly.
This window is the one real chance left to affect matters in our favour. After this we have to hope a squad of kids and inconsistent senior players pull something out of the bag.
I'm not giving up but I want a fighting chance.

And I'm sorry to say but I want Randy to reconsider being custodian of this great club because I dont think he's up to the job.
The communication is bollocks too. Its unforgiveable. I can cope with being shit and making mistakes but being blanked isnt cricket to be honest.
Spot on.

If Davies is going for £2 million we should have been in for that in my opinion.

Agreed & I know I'm in a minority here, but why not NRC aswell?

The fans may not have given up but i fear the people running the club have thrown in the towel.

I defended NRC a lot when he was here and would gladly take him back on a short term deal.

Good grief, I had no idea football fans were so thin-skinned.  Or can we only dish it out?
Normally you roll with the punches, hilts.  I rarely "dish it out" to anyone, as I don't really like what comes back in the opposite direction when the boot's on the other foot.  But when the insidious sniping has been present pretty much all season, be it on the web site or on MotD, coupled with our current parlous state, forgive me for being a little "thin-skinned".  You don't work for the BBC do you?

well, yeah, they'll never take the memeories from any Villa fan who's older than 32. In fact, if the earliest age you can remember is about 5 or 6, anyone younger than 38 has no memories of Villa being great at all. Poor bleeders.

Anyone under that age who watches the Villa must be...what's the opposite of a glory hunter? Grief hunter?

We dont really need a striker but so why not Saha just released by Sunderland get him short term deal?

While I agree with the majority of your post the communication thing pisses me off, when Lerner took over most of us celebrated the fact that he he stayed out of the limelight unlike the Porn brothers on the other side of the city. I don't understand the clamour to be hearing from the owner.

Quite, it seems the anger has turned from the players/club to the BBC. Ridiculous.

I don't mind having an owner that doesn't talk to the press. However, it puts even more importance onto whoever is appointed as CEO.

In fact if a club is run well, there doesn't need to be an owner that throws money at it - Spurs and Everton to name but 2.

What is needed is a clear vision and long-term plan. Swansea were almost relegated to the Conference 10 years ago but they've risen through the leagues playing an attractive style of play and have continually appointed managers that fit their desired style of play. The lack of footballing knowledge from the top of the club is startling.
