Danny Graham is a quality signing for them - would have been for us.  I know we are holding out for quality though, like French 2nd Division players so we need to have patience.

He wanted to go back to the North East for family reasons, would never have been an option.

I don't think Lambert has the personality to deal with opinionated high profile players. Some of the formations he's sent out lately wouldn't sit well with experienced players who know the game also.

I think Malouda is a fine player but If they want to throw Essien in too , so be it .

Think Essien is on loan at Madrid. The delights of B6 would tept him though, I'm sure.

I agree with this , i think he shies away from big name experienced players and surrounds himself with younger .

My ITK (I Touch Kit Kats) has just seen Neil Ward Dutton getting out of a taxi while doing a sly piss-poo. I don't need to say any more but expect Martin Butler and Didier Agathe to be showing up at Villa Park very soon with a large bag of coins and a Twix.

Does he?  Or do the wage restrictions mean he hasn't a choice anyway?

It baffles me the pretence of some fans with regards to Malouda.

"We need a creative experienced player!"

"OK here's one potentially."

"No."

Some people......

The way he spat his dummy out when questioned by Kendrick would be his reaction I imagine to an experienced, respected player telling him 5 at the back isn't working, again.

It's largely his choice I feel, as he clearly stated in the Summer
