Malouda is not what we need at all. Journeyman who wont be up for the fight

We need fighters

Well, The Big Show off of WWE was suggested on the Sylla thread......

Malouda would be ace, but it won't happen.

The Big Show would at least add some physicality and fight into our midfield...

I disagree I think he is exactly what we need. An experienced creative player who WILL be hungry to try his hardest as he will need a new club at the end of the season.

Fighters, not big actors.

Not that I'd take on the Big Show mano-a-mano, mind.

Yes, and look where that policy of "young and hungry" has landed us: 19th place. Experience is essential to guide these young players and instill some much-needed confidence.

Im all for experience but I dont regard him as someone who will get stuck in............I can see the comments now Malouda did f all and just wondered around the pitch ............... if he is our only option hes better than nothing but I think theres better options

Anyone who's seen our lack of drive and skill in the final third would be absolutely mad to turn down Malouda.

You missed the sarcasm.

IMO we have to go one way or the other, because established experienced players between the ages of 25 and 30 that are any good will be regulars in teams way above us at the moment

sunderland sign Graham

That's the MON we all know, I almost thought he'd been replaced by imposter.

Danny Graham is a quality signing for them - would have been for us.  I know we are holding out for quality though, like French 2nd Division players so we need to have patience.

Isn't Malouda a hard worker on and off the pitch? Not noticed him as someone hiding or relaxing on field.

I think Malouda is a fine player but If they want to throw Essien in too , so be it .
