Paul Scharner has gone to Wigan on loan. He'd have done a job for us at either centre half or defensive midfield.

120k a week, 12.5m for Samba.

The world is beyond mad. He is a good player, but Blackburn were leaking goals with him and Nelson last season before he left.

It's absolutely disgusting and Redknapp and QPR are a disgrace.

I agree Paul...

If you have got the money spend it ( this applies to mr lambert).

No because they're just doing an exaggerated version of what happened to us. There's no way their income can sustain that spending. So no 'if you have the money spend it' is nonsense and will threaten the long term future of the club.

As said in the post, it applies to lambert- money available to him today must be used.

Yes, and always seemed to get the odd important goal as well.

Apparently Danny Simpson will be gone from Newcastle by the end of the day...surely would be an improvement on what we have. Again, he is one that can go straight in and do a job, anywhere across the back 4 (which I hope her reverts to).

Tulisa in the stands would be a bonus, something decent to look at if the football is crap..

Yes but I wasn't talking about Lambert, it's about QPR spending absolutely massively beyond their means.

Looking at their board and owners they can afford it ten times over.
They will stay up - i have no doubt.

Eastie, you consistently say this money must be used, but does this money you refer to include wages or is this just the money for the transfers themselves?

Exactly the sort of move we should have been looking at.

Unless we have something better planned. Just throwing that out there.

I'd be very surprised if we get a defender as good and as ready for the Premier League as Scharner.

There is always that possibility.

Money available for transfers needs to be spent - i don't get this " wont spend for the sake of it "stuff from lambert, the team is weak and there are loads of players he could get to strengthen - scharner would have been perfect for starters.

We dont want to hit 11 pm and say well there was £5m left but we couldnt find anyone suitable to buy.

I'm holding out for Hangeland.  That would make it a good window and be a better move than Scharner.
