Apparently Danny Simpson will be gone from Newcastle by the end of the day...surely would be an improvement on what we have. Again, he is one that can go straight in and do a job, anywhere across the back 4 (which I hope her reverts to).

Money available for transfers needs to be spent - i don't get this " wont spend for the sake of it "stuff from lambert, the team is weak and there are loads of players he could get to strengthen - scharner would have been perfect for starters.

We dont want to hit 11 pm and say well there was £5m left but we couldnt find anyone suitable to buy.

I'm holding out for Hangeland.  That would make it a good window and be a better move than Scharner.
