yep a 22 year old from the french 2nd division doesn't sound like the guy who's gonna dominate our midfield

Well that depends on who he is playing for as he will easily dominate our midfield  in any other team.

Well aye. I was just hoping for someone, you know, experienced... I hope lambchop knows what he's doing

Someone on VT claiming Abdoulaye Ba is having a medical tomorrow.

not sure on this ITK's credentials but Ba is the 6'6" Porto centre back we have long been linked with.

They're like sheep on there though.

I know Dave, they're all bloody nuts tbh. There's probably nowt in it.

Like sheep- ba, you missed the pun mr woo!

I'm glad we've signed someone, a DM at that as well, yet I was hoping we'd go for experience in order to have a bloody good go at getting out of this mess we're in. I don't think this kind of signing is what we need right now, it represents too much of a gamble IMO, and we can't afford to do that. I'm pretty pissed off that the club are willing to dice with our Premier League status anyway.

What are we crying out for - proven Premier League standard players to get us out of this god awful mess. What has Lambert given us - an unknown French youngster from the lower leagues.
It's like a bad fuckin dream.

Yes, it isn't the best news, but will you at least give the player 10 mins to see.

Well greg compared to bannan and Ireland you never know...

Talk about clutching at straws!
It really isn't fair on the kid, the French 2nd division and the Premier league are like chalk and cheese. Established internationals find it hard to adjust, let alone an u21 international (i.e. 1 cap). I was going to say he probably can't talk English but that may be a blessing at least he may do what comes naturally rather than take instructions from Lambchop!

True but the prospect of him rather than barry bannan is reason to celebrate alone.

The Premier League ain't La Liga. The first quality you need to survive is physical strength and endurance, so if the new lad has enough of that he should be OK.

Indeed. He's the right type of player we need, so give the man a chance.
