I think the problem is less Lambert's signings, more that the experienced players (Gabby, N'Zogbia, Bent, Ireland) have not stepped up to the mark and that too much belief has been given the existing young players (Bannan, Herd, Lichaj, Clark). Bannan, Clark and Lichaj are a bigger problem for me than Westwood, Lowton or Vlaar.

It's too easy to get on the backs of the likes of Bannan, Herd and Lichaj. They've hardly been used in their natural positions and haven't been found wanting in commitment, nor have they had the support from senior players that they could and should have expected, for various reasons. Clark I do worry about though. It's all about opinion at the end of the day!

I still want to see Carruthers get a run. I think there's a cracking player there! Again, IMHO.

As for our new boy, FFS give him a chance guys!
