So maybe Robbie Keane for his winter break with LAG? Do we need him now?? Yes, yes we do!

Robbie Keane in the middle of an attacking 3 in a 4-2-3-1 would make a big difference.  Even though he was only here for a month last season, it was quite clear that he would be far better than Ireland and N'Zogbia in that role.

Might not have experience but I'd take an unproven 6ft physical DM ahead of the likes of Bannan and Westwood (Let's face it, we are going down if that is our midfield partnership until the end of the season).

Maybe we can shift Clark into midfield if we sign a centre back?

Very true.

Sylla, Diame, Hangeland & Phillips would keep us up.

Sign a central midfielder that's better than what we currently have and we may not be totally doomed, add a decent centre half and I'd give us a fighting chance.

This is what the majority can see. Pessimistic about staying up but one glimmer of hope for me is that you can see us scoring against almost anybody with the right starting line up but the negative is we need 3 to win.
Saw Hangeland play this year, would suit us down to the ground, very commanding.

@ FBAuvergne: Yacouba Sylla will leave @ ClermontFoot and engage with the English club Aston Villa. He passed a medical this afternoon.

Here's the source of the twitter breaking news.. I kid you not.

Getting rid of our most prolific striker because our pathetic manager hasn't a clue how to get the best out of him, something that even Steve Bruce managed This is utterly depressing

Agree with this , natural goalscorer all his career and lambert hasnt a clue how to get the best from him when we have a terrible scoring record.

Don't agree with this as he's been fucking shit when he's played this season, and his replacement doesn't seem to have trouble playing for a shit manager.

Maybe we can shift Clark into midfield if we sign a centre back?

I've mention Clark, alongside Westwood, as a defensive mid for a while now, as I think Baker alongside Vlaar is a better option at centre back.

Given the current squad I'd probably look at this as a starting line

...........................Guzan

Lowton..........Vlaar.......Baker...........Stevens

...............Westwood......Clark
.....................................................CN'Z
..........................Delph

.............Weimann.....Benteke
