The only way for Lerner to take notice is by staying away.  15000 crowd would grab his attention, a prelude to next season.

Probably true .

Just fucking do something Villa, we are desperate for additions. Everyone around us is doing something, just get your fucking act together and stop ruining this great club.

West Ham are eyeing a move for 31-year-old Shakhtar Donetsk left-back Razvan Rat.

Can't believe Lambert's not in for this guy if only because it would be the first ever example of a rat joining a sinking ship.

Keep up, the Rat is moving to Leeds not West Ham

Doesn't look like the Paul Scholes deal is going through.

But what can you expect with a retard as an owner, a mumbling Cro-Magnon Man 'coaching' the team and that utter skidmark Paul Faulkner doing an amazing impersonation of an ashtray on a motor bike.
I shouldn't laugh really, as our parlous state is no laughing matter, but this did make me chuckle.

Ideally, we could do with an experienced centre half who would give everything for the cause and is a Villa fan..

Sean St Ledger.

I still think we will see two or three players come in but its way too late, should have been in much much earlier and the 10 points dropped this month will seal our fate.

The continuous poor selections, tactics and formations have been shocking and for lerner to be happy with lambert beggars belief- lambert talks shit after each game and it seems the only one who believes him is lerner - shocking!

This is it. While I wouldn't say getting signings in at this stage will be too little, too late, if we had got them in early we could have a nice buffer between us in the relegation zone, be going to Wembley and be in the 5th round of a the F.A. Cup.

The most annoying thing is that it wouldn't have required any massive splurges, just a few more solid, competitive, experienced heads to give the players the confidence to follow through on the flashes of quality they have shown.

Still 2 days and I live in hope. 2 years ago Randy pulled Darren Bent out of the hat when no one was expecting it. While it's very clear we won't be spending that again, we need a similar injection of personnel.

Until the Euros (when the whole team was a shambles...common theme for me this year) he has always been solid for Ireland. I never understood how he never had a chance at a PL club. He has had his own injury problems this year as well this year I think, though.

Lambert was hoping that keeping Scholes car as leverage would work, Scholesy just went out & bought a new one instead.

The penultimate day of the transfer window, and you'd think that given our desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate, desperate situation, we'd have signed a football player. But no...
