He said he was interested in certain players but they'd ended up at other clubs. That suggests that if he has got cash to spend it ant bloody much!

Which goes back to my point a few pages ago, if we'd signed players in early January we would have looked a whole lot better to join!

Why does it?
We are not an exactly attractive  proposition right now, i think we may well be able to match other clubs financially but players may choose not to come here .

I'm sure the "list" includes alternatives and if not, shame on them.
There are lots of good players who would be delighted to come here, I'm sure.

Hes spent far more than at norwich and has money now , he wasnt bleating like a lamb about money there - the money he has spent we should be in a far better position than we are now -.

If he has got money to spend and doesn't spend it then whatever is remaining on 1st Feb should be spent on flags. That should ensure a feel good factor and give the team a real lift.

yep its not rocket science. replacing petrov and a decent fullback would have solved a lot of our problems.  if he did replace them, then he got it wrong big time

I remember him  spouting pre season how kea would have a big impression in the premier league and prove to be a great signing - really?

It suggests to me that the players concerned were offered better deals at other clubs.

Well in fairness he's hardly likely to go, 'I've signed this bloke and frankly he's bollocks'. In any case I'm really hoping KEA might get back to somewhere near how he played at the beginning of the season, that'd help a bit.

Please Villa sign at the very least a defensive midfielder.

I think KEA like a lot of foreign imports may need time to settle in. Some players gel into the premier league straight away, some others take time. We may well see the best of him next season.
