Kendrick says any new signings still unlikely.

Nice to see lambert has made up with him.

No- just nothing at the moment .
Time to worry would be friday if that were the case but cant see that happening.
As you said earlier maz , prepare for a last day rush.

His comments in the express and star about money are very interesting. He talks as if he has no money, then says there are people we were in for who have gone to other clubs. Something is not adding up, but I think Lambert is dragging his feet personally.

"To rebuild you have to first strip it back"

With an attitude like that we're f#cked.

that's my reading of it. Crisis of confidence? Really think the job's too big for him

Most likley it's the wages, Lerner has a cap on it and it's a lot less than Newcastle, QPR and Southampton are offering.  Maybe even Wigan.

To be frank I can't see how this squad can be 'stripped back' any further.

Eastie, with all due respect, if you have info you are happy to share, donate, become a GM and share it in the GM forum or do it on the main board. Telling people, on the transfer thread, you have PM'd them info is not a great thing to do in my opinion. It just creates a situation where others want to know and gets people on your back.

Thanks.

I have to agree if i'm honest but in fairness Eastie is not the the only one guilty of it. I get pm's from people on here from time to time about certain things but i tend to keep them to myself. It's easier that way and it's the way i'll always do it.

Warnock and Hutton going at the end of the month will only mean that we've got rid of two high earners and not had time to bring in suitable replacements. I don't believe for the type of players we're likely to bring in it takes almost all month to tie up the deal. We'll end up with lower league players or foreigners nobody has heard of in the KEA mould. Those deals are hardly to be long drawn out contractual issues.

what was our wage bill in the last accounts? Something unbelievable i seem to recall, but there's hardly anyone remaining from the MON era now. Did they keep paying mental wages after he left? I don't get it.
