I would suggest he's more than doubled his value unless we go down and are forced into a Birmingham style sale.

I can't see why we wouldn't sell him if we could, have'nt we already admitted that finance is more important than football?

I dont think anyone for one second believes benteke would be sold this window, just idle speculation bollocks.
Sadly if we were dealing in facts this window we would still be on page 1 of the thread .
Frustrating .

I don't believe it, just making an observation about his value.

Me to. He has hinted plenty of times that Villa is a stepping stone

Maybe in the summer and certainly if we go down , but for now lets just hope we get players in .
We have been a stepping stone for decades- most clubs are .

"Villa are not in danger of losing Benteke before the winter transfer window closes because he has played for two clubs this season"
we shouldn't have any probs offloading Ireland then, he hasn't even played for one

Watching Troy Deeney is he.Would this be the Troy Deeney that was put away for GBH a couple of years ago.

He just had a fight that he won handsomely. Most people who do that on a night out would be very unlucky to even be arrested. He was unlucky and has learned his lesson. Nice bloke, average player IMO.

Just read that we are letting Warnock go to WHU on a free - Lambert obviously confident that Bennett and Stevens can "go again"!

It say in reports that he kicked somebody in the head while they were on the ground.  a) that sounds like something that would lead to a spell inside, but b) the ability to connect accurately with something on the ground instantly makes him better than most of our team, so sign him up!

That's good, I'd still pay them to take him.

Like I said if there's money to spend and Lambert isn't he should be fired. Let's not forget in the summer he only panicked into spending it at the last minute.
