Loan fee and % of wages , same for Warnock gota be some room for us to bring some one in

On another note that would be 3 first teamers with total salary nearing 100k a week and a second choice GK on 60k ..what a bloody mess the board as made itself. We prob have the highest paid 2nd choice keeper in the league

He was first choice when we brought him. It's his own fault he lost his place.

Probably time this thread was locked eh?

Bit sulky and hissy fit to close it before 31st. Not that I'm expecting anything. Also can we aim for 500 pages with no activity?

Given PL's interview on the 'The club have accepted Relegation' thread it's now abundantly clear we aren't signing anyone. Only reason to keep this thread open now is to plot the departures of the likes of Hutton and maybe Bent.

You could argue reason he lost place is because his control of area ,coming for balls into box and kicking is not great hence why City binned him which begs the question why such an investment fee and wages on a 35 year old.

I'd agree on the length of the contract it was a bit excessive, but as for the fee, not too many complained at the time.

Bent won't be sold in this window, not for lack of trying I'm sure, but why pay £10 million now when in May he'll be worth £6 million.  I doubt we'll see anyone other than Mutton leaving.

Problem with Bent , only clubs that want him are our rivals to go down. Can't offload with out strengthening them.

Will the last man out please turn out the lights .

I imagine all lights are turned off at the club, the boardroom is probably lit by the members holding matches.

I think I've missed something - who else has gone?

I think Leeds will at least be paying enough of Warnock's wages to allow for about a £20-30k a week player to come in.
