Was it Stephens who scored that screamer against Blackburn?

He looked more like 6'1" when he scored that goal yesterday. Perhaps he grew in stature!

It was him.  Interestingly, the footage of his goal on SSN was preceded by a comment on his small stature, with the presenter saying he is only 5' 5".  Not exactly what we need at the moment.

The lads 6'1  ;)

That's what his Wiki profile says, but the Charlton website has him at 5'7".  Noone seems to know!!

Ah I see what you mean. I think their official site is probably far more likely to be correct than a wiki article. He suddenly doesn't sound quite so appealing anymore.

Wouldn't rule him out totally, but we don't really need another smallish ball player at the moment.  One for the summer maybe.

Newcastle are trying to do something about their plight.  Trying to buy the French defence by the look of it - right back Debuchy already in and centre back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa due to sign this week.

A good start would be to get Riise from Fulham...he wants out and I think we need experience at LB. He can also deliver a dead ball. Short term deal, won't cost much. No brainer IMO.

Got a feeling in my urine that Huddlestone will be in on loan.
He's been quoted by AVB to be pretty much first choice now that Sandro is out for the year. Non-starter I'm afraid.

well not today Scott parker is in. Depends  where m'villa goes he may come in so huddlestone be left on bench as cover. As Livermore would then go to qpr

I'd be happy with that.

I would be happy with Riise on an 18 month deal (no stupid Beye type deals) as left back is a major weakness whoever plays there.

Didnt think the general was still involved?
If that email is true (which I hope if is) then maybe we will get some players in.

Fucking hell, no.
He has constant problems with his Cilla, quite apart from the fact that he's shot it.

We don't need forward players anyway.
