Is it going to take a hammering by the Stripes for the deafening clamour from the Villa fans to make Lambert just go all out on survival player-buying? As nothing seems to be happening and "we are sticking to what we have" line we need to make a noise !!

I must admit, the combination of Lambert's grand plan for staying up being 'I just think we will', lack of transfer activity and other clubs strengthening is making me think we really are doomed. Can't believe that next year Stoke, Norwich and Swansea will be in the Prem and Aston Fucking Villa will be in the Championship. It just feels wrong. I know no one has a god given right, but still...

If we get a hammering from the Stripes I hope it's not Lambert doing the buying

If WBA hammer us he will walk I think ....

First managerial job he was on a poor run at Livingstone and quit when relized he couldn't do anything to halt the slide

Stop this sickening defeatism. It's grating now. Any more of this and you'll wake up with a Tesco Value Beefburger on your pillow.
We're obviously going through a shit time but its only half way through and its all to play for.
Find some nerve.

And if you can't find some nerve then find some gallows humour or Smiths puns.

Yep, sums it up. Those teams have better squads than ours as is borne out by the League Table. Lerner is a complete disaster. The bastard bought up all my shares in 2006! As a sole shareholder he is a disgrace and not worthy as a custodian of OUR great club! That's it Randy, keep sleep-walking us towards the Championship.

Agreed, Mr Lerner has caused most of our problems with his decisions/leadership..
Obviously he never ment to do the damage he's caused but we can't hide the fact that were a poorly led club...
I don't dislike Mr Lerner or wish bad of him but I do hope he decides to put the club up for sale otherwise I can see things turning ugly...
I'm sure Mr Lerner would make a tidy profit from selling the club, it might take awhile to find a buyer but I'm willing to give him time so he doesn't get ripped off, but I do want him to sell..

Charming I must say.  What difference would it make?

I think we need to try and remember the games we have left, yes we are in deep trouble and I blame Lerner and Faulkner for this slide into abstract mediocrity and farce but as supporters we have to influence the team in as positive way as possible.

I know we are a laughing stock in this league right now but on Saturday we were so quiet that the Saints bossed the game on and off the pitch.

It is hard for the players to keep their heads up as it is without them looking around to see us all silent and tense only making noises of disapproval when one of our shell shocked lambs misplaces a kick.

Next game can we as supporters show some gallows humour and grit and start standing up for our club.  Sing for 90 minutes if you can until your throat is sore at least then we can all say that we did our bit and if you want to critisise then I think it has to be the chairman that gets it full force and not the current crop of staff on the pitch and touchline.

I am still awaiting the first 'Where the f$$$ is Randy Lerner, whilst the Villa go Marching Down!' chant from the Holte but when it comes I know it will be deafening.   He needs to feel the pressure that we are feeling and that of the Manager who is fighting with both hands tied behind his back.

The only question is when do we turn to the Directors box and let him know exactly what we think.

I remain optimistic that we will bring at least two players in.  Simply because Lerner can afford it, Lambert must surely accept we will go down without strengthening, and the alternative would most likely be football, and by extension business, suicide.
