Were going through a massive season.. its painful.. but yet again those pair of dicks RIP and Risso disgrace themselves with abusing OUR manager. You really are low. Ive hated past managers with a passion but couldn't resort to your style. Show some respect.

I doubt the managers upset by it, so why get yourself banned?

Also slightly odd saying that and then asking for respect.

An apology would be appreciated here.

I dont really see what was so wrong with that interview. Do you expect him to say "Yes, I think we're screwed"?
He's not the most elegant of speakers at the best of times so this is all very predictable.
I dont think he's talking to his players like that or that they have any doubt as to the predicament we're in.
I also have no doubts he knows that we need a few players in and that he's not going to give any hints as to who they are or how much he has to spend because that would be silly.

I'm also pretty sure he knows we need better than Reo bleeding Coker and that there are lots of players better than him that we can get without spending a fortune.
Spain is potentially having a January sale for instance.

Why go back to players we used to have who weren't much cop then?
I'm sorry this club has done this to you, that you're desperate enough to want things like Reo Coker back to happen but I dont think a guy giving the ball away and unable to support attacks in any way, putting more pressure on a young fragile team is the answer. We need more control of the ball, not less.
Hear, hear.

Is the NRC thing a caption competition for me I'd go with:

Barry (off screen) "Nige' how many passes to a Villa is that today?" NRC "This many, getting better!"

I actually didn't mind him as much as many on here as, at the time, I saw the value he gave the squad.  However he'd be a truly terrible signing now.  Not only do we not base our game on counter attacking, which suits him winning the ball and shipping it straight to someone else, but he's gone backwards as a player since he left.

Delph Bannan and Herd are all better players than NRC,

would NRC make a difference to the midfield, yes, he would make it worse

I apologise Dave but certain fans are verging on enjoying our plight. Pulling our manager to pieces isn't the answer.

I think fans are here because we care and love the club , I don't think anyone gets pleasure from the current situation .

If people feel lambert is the wrong man then they have every right to say so, I'm sure he can handle criticism .

Equally im sure rip and risso would be delighted to be proved wrong about him - we all want success for aston villa.

Hoppo they don't enjoy it.The people that you singled out have been spot about where Villa are at the moment.
Some people are too pig headed to give them some credit.

You must be joking on Herd. He can barely kick the ball straight - he never has been a Premier League player.

All those who rubbish Reo-Coker - who are these mythical alternatives from the continent or here who are going to cost very little and hit the ground running for a side that has absolutely no direction on the pitch at the moment.

They might be right but it's the very personal nature of some of the attacks that are way over the top. The manager, the chairman and the Chief Exec don't wake up every morning with an even more cunning and devious plan to personally fuck over every Aston Villa supporter. Whether they are doing a job well or not well is a perfectly valid point of discussion. But when it gets as far as very personal insults it gets a bit much. There is not one fan on here that is not upset or concerned about how things are. But not everybody has called the owner a c***. I think for many that's just too far.

It's easy with the Villa though, if you just keep saying everything's shit, you're gonna be right half the time.

Totally agree on Herd. He does try, but comes up short.

That's two things he has in common with NRC then.

You put that much better than I ever could, TV. I think Hoppo's point is valid, just not the dicks part.
