We don't need 2 players anymore, we need 4-5 tbh.

The 8-0 defeat at Chelsea has done us imo, someone like Lowton who'd been consistant all season has looked shot since that game, same with Baker.

Who is going to want to come to us now though?  Most Premiership players will consider us  strong relegation possibilities now and therefore probably would be put off a permanent move.  We still might be able to attract those types of players on loan.

Lowton was appalling today. He's lost or gave the ball away on 6 consecutive occasions in the 1at half. Not good enough for the Villa 1st team. That could be said about most of this pitiful team though.

First half he was poor. Second half he showed spirited and commitment and probably got as forward as he has anytime this season.

I agree his level has dropped last few weeks, not surprising as he's stepped up two divisions and has played pretty much every league game.

Said after Wigan it might be time to give him a breather but when that alternative is Hutton....

I think the Chelsea result was simply the rug being pulled from our eyes.

I agree about Lowton, and it's a shame because he looks very promising. It's just another side-effect of this awful season. The same goes for the others, too. Benteke, Westwood, they're potentially good players having their self-belief decimated.

The concern is that with every defeat the selling clubs will know we are a little more desperate and try and hold out for more money. It's football, and nobody is going to reach out a hand to help us. In fact, they are going to the exact opposite because it makes sense to. I don't blame them either.

Rugs are under feet. Veils cover eyes. Unless you are saying that we wear wigs. We have been unbalanced, scalped and blinded by effin Lerner, though.

Let's face it, which player with any ambition would come here now? It's like climbing aboard the Titanic.

The only way we can attract a decent player this window is with wages... Which is the thing that got us here in the first place.

Yep that's the catch 22 we've got ourselves in to thanks to this totally inept group in the Boardroom.

We'll now have to pay crazy wages to attract decent players and clubs know we're now desperate...... another masterstroke.

For fucks sake, theres no way I believe that there is no better leftback in the world than Enda Stevens who wont sign for us for less than £20.000 p/w.

Same applies to Delph, Bannan, Clarke etc etc

These players are shit and theres better out there who wouldnt cost the earth or millions of pounds per season.

Other clubs have found them, look at a squad list from the Premier league and count them up, guys you've never heard of who came over and did a job.

We need to pull our fingers out with the scouting network, it's been shit for years and low an behold we put a guy with a decent rep in place and it looks as it he's pissing off to Germany to become assistant manager to some no mark club.

We were sold a lie that our youth system was akin to Ajax's. I never fell for that bullshit but many did. Lerner for a start.

We have one in Warnock who is average....which makes him light years better than Srevens, Lichaj & Bennett
