I'll never ever be embarrassed of this club no matter what happens and anybody that wants to have a go at us can suck my swingers.

This. I pity the infidel.

If it were up to me and I had the £10m Lambert supposedly has then I'd try and sign Riise, Livermore on loan and try and tempt Blackpool into selling Ince.

Scraping the barrel there, but those three and a returning Vlaar and Dunne might be enough.

As talented as Ince is, Blackpool will screw any club for the better part of 6 or 7 mil and especially in January. We just need experience now and not the Steve Hunt/Andy Blair type.

Trouble is ,there are no signs of either of these coming back. It's very frustrating

They said the same 6 weeks ago, Vlaar tweeted himself that he expected to be fit for Liverpool away but seems no closer , his record of injuries I'd really bad in his career though.

I wouldn't rely on Dunne or Vlaar returning. If you had to prioritise two positions an experienced centre half and centre mid are priority.

I agree, which is frustrating because centre half shouldn't be a priority and that money should be available to spend on a creative player instead, but we can't let the defensive side of things carry on as it is.

Agree entirely - shoring up the centre, at the back and in the middle, with LEADERS, has to be the priority.

we need new Mellberg and Laursen and Bouma, for defence, and new Roy Keanr/Andy Townsend and Gordon Sidney Cowans and Tony Morley/Ashley Young for team. I think we should try Di Maria from Real Madrid on loan for winger.

Although PL seems to be against the loan option, he shouldn't rule it out entirely. To get us through this complete mess of a season he should explore the option as there is often more scope. Kyle Walker was a good example - Houllier did well in the January 2011 window with him and the Bent purchase but not so well with Makoun. My worry is that Lambert seems to believe the current crop don't require assistance.

I think any Jan business will be done with knowledge of how close Vlaar and Dunne are to playing again.  If they're gonna be out the majority of the rest of the season, CB becomes THE priority, but if back soon then I'd be focusing on a midfielder.

Looking at the game yesterday, our main tactical problem was a disconnect between the midfield and attack.  N'Zogbia is more of a wide player, so we need a No10 to dropoff the frontline and link things up.  Ireland shouls/could be this player, but I doubt he will be now, so that's what else I'd be looking for - this seasons Robbie Keane!

We STILL havent signed anybody?????

I know I sound like a whiner, but sod it, after the past few weeks I am entitled. This is ridiculous, we have known we need strengthening for weeks.

This is the most worrying thing, Liverpool were very thin upfront, Sturridge had his medical before the window even opened.

We should have had our targets lined up and ready, it WILL be too late, if we wait till the end of January.

What's happened with this Dale Stephens chap, he would make a huge difference to our current team.

On what basis?
