We need leaders. I know people hate the idea, but Reo Coker would be first on my list on a free. Battles and leads.

You obviously didn't see him on saturday then, He was shite!

I'd go for Phil Neville. Serious. Offer him a coaching role, pay him more than Everton Just get some backbone in there ffs.

I don't know if Neville is the answer or not but we need that type of player that comes from a winning culture. Or at least is the type of personality that doesn't just accept losing. Vlaar fits that in my opinion and him being out has been horrendous. But when you look at most of the rest of the squad and especially those who are pre-Lambert all they've known is losing and disappointment. We simply have to purge that from the club. It's a giant anchor holding us back.

I'm starting to think Lambert should be grovelling to Hutton and Warnock

Lambert needs a dominant personality in the team to ensure his instructions are followed. I can't believe he tells them to play like clueless fannys, so Neville would scare the shit out of the youngsters and if he got any problems from the older wasters he could just ask them to compare medals. Offer Everton a couple of million, give him a 2 year contract. If his legs goes before then it's a darn sight cheaper than relegation

And he could tell his brother to circle them on his big Ipad on a Monday if they have been shit. It's a win win.

For the first time I am genuinely worried, the defence at this present time is at best inept, the cover from the midfield is non existent.

I think we need 2 centre halves, Vlaar is AWOL and Clark & Baker look hopelessly out of their depth, in fact I think Clark is failing his audition to be centre half & captain pretty spectacularly.  Lescott and Dawson were my first choices but can't see either happening.

Also need experienced full backs - definitely a left back who knows how to defend first and foremost.

Team without a leader is also a worry.

No way i would have Hutton back but Warnock for all his faults is a better left back than what we have and Collins would be a better centre back than what we can get on the pitch at the moment. Yes they are both crap but it goes to show how far we have fallen. We just don't need a couple of players we need four or five of quality to see any improvement.

Clark and Baker have shown some good qualities this season. I wouldn't describe them as shite. If we were in a better position I'd say persevere with them and live with the mistakes; they will leatrn from them.

However in the position we are in, we can no longer afford that. We need to buy a CB, we also need Vlaar fit soon.

Midfield has been a weak spot all season. We need two or three there.

I wouldn't want Ireland, Warnock, Hutton and now NZobia on the books regardless.

The serious contemplation of a comeback for Warnock is honestly the most depressing thing I've read on here tonight.
