Balotelli put in a bad tackle on Scott Sinclair which triggered it off- I think Sinclair would be a decent signing for us .

Probably now injured from Balotelli's tackle - so yes, definitely sign him to join the others on the treatment table!

I wish Jean Makoun hadn't disappeared into a black hole.

He's on loan at Rennes I think.

Pretty much. I think Houllier was a planning a midfield which kept the ball and kept the ball moving which he is suited for (and Cabaye who he was going to buy).
Then McLeish came in and decided that all that possession stuff was hogwash.

Yep essentially. I always thought there was a good player in there and should have been perservered with, but not to be.

What about Benayoun on loan? He'd be like a better Holman, surely.

Couldn't get in Wet Spams team - we need players with more hunger and physical presence imo.

West Ham's midfield is far superior to ours though, Diame, Noble, Nolan, Jarvis would all walk into our team and Collison, Taylor and O'Neill probably would as well.

£6m of Randy's money yes. Sometimes that's forgotten.

He's still technically our player as he's out on loan, surely we could look at either recalling him or playing him next season?

I think you'll find it's partly ours as well.
