I'm fairly sure he did, I think he might even have scored in their first game of the season.

He scored the 5th when they beat QPR 0 - 5

Just checked the BBC match report for the opening game they played.  Sinclair came on as a sub and scored, so that's that one fucked.

With Demba Ba going to Chelsea, what odds on Bent to Newcastle?

Not a bad shout, but I don't think hey need him when they have pretty much a carbon copy of Ba already in Cisse. Not to mention the fact they badly need to spend this money on a few squad players to add some depth.
NUFC are apparently trying to sign a French replacement; perhaps Remy.

regarding playing for three clubs here is the rule;

Currently under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. This applies whether the player has been transferred or simply is on loan with that club.

This also applies regardless of what country that player has plied his trade in, whether that is in Europe, Africa or South America. As long as a player has represented a club in a league under the adjudication of a FIFA Member Association they will only be able to play for three different clubs.

However, this does mean that a football player is free to represent a total of three different clubs in any league in the world over the course of one season.

Therefore it still could be on.

Really? Didn't know that. It would still surprise me but I'll eat my humble pie if I'm wrong.

Sinclair is a no go, he has played for and scored for Swansea before he moved to City.

A couple of posts above suggests it is okay.  Have you read/heard otherwise?

I'm not 100% sure, can we class it as an emergency loan?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1248600/Fulhams-Nicky-Shorey-FIFA-probe-playing-club-season.html

So FIFA are moaning about Emergency loans, yet allowed Maschereno to go to Liverpool which would have been three clubs in a season and a breach of their rules at the time.

3 clubs in a year is fine, more than 3 is the problem.  It's really not uncommon for youngsters to go out on loan to a couple of different clubs in a season which is, I'm sure, the reason it's set to 3.

Sandman, where were you in twenty twelve? Never mind, you're still top of the posting charts but your daily average will have no doubt plummeted.

Sinclair to Citeh always seemed an odd move but imagine they'll be holding onto him until the summer now. Didn't Manchini only recently rule out selling any players in January?

Don't rate Sinclair.  He was a big fish in a small pond at Swansea.

We need leaders that can help the kids out. I don't feel Sinclair is the answer.

I can't imagine they'll let anyone go before Ivory Coast are out of the African Nations Cup. How about Rodwell though?
