Overheard two chaps at Tesco talking that Lescott and Keane are done deals and on their way. They looked genuine to me!

Was it Lerner and Faulkner?

Did they look a bit confused and lost, hanging around the women's lingerie section?  Or did Faulkner just look like a spare part?

You're more likely to see that pair shopping at Aldi.

Faulkner strikes me more as a Dougal type figure.

Not sure but they went over to Customer Services to return half a roll of unused Xmas wrapping paper. When the assistant asked for their names all I could make out from some distance away was Candle Burner and Pea Fucker!

Would be happy with that. Nowhere near good enough for Man. City anyway.

With Demba Ba going to Chelsea, what odds on Bent to Newcastle?

Slightly strange move for Lambert, who's said he doesn't want to play with wingers?

They're also saying on Twitter that Sinclair has played for 2 clubs this season already which would rule it out.

I'm fairly sure he did, I think he might even have scored in their first game of the season.

Not a bad shout, but I don't think hey need him when they have pretty much a carbon copy of Ba already in Cisse. Not to mention the fact they badly need to spend this money on a few squad players to add some depth.
