What about the hitz on a short term deal? Linked to west ham by collymore. Though I'd have thought Everton would want to keep him

No thanks part XXVII.

Charlton Athletic midfielder Bradley Pritchard has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for three clubs in the Premier League.

The Zimbabwe-born 27-year-old has been a permanent fixture in the Addicks team this season, earning rave reviews for his dominant displays in the centre of the field.

Yesterday saw the January transfer window open and, according to Sky Sports News, Aston Villa, Fulham and Reading are all monitoring Pritchard as they consider bolstering their squads.

Pritchard, whose contract expires in June 2014, joined Charlton from Hayes & Yeading in May 2011.

Charlton fan I know posted this on facebook:

'if you steal bradley pritchard off us i will take the cheese grater to your face. Peace'

He rates him.

Mentioned this in another (the wrong!) thread.
Ex Tamworth player and he follows me on Twitter!

Box-to-box midfielder, real grafter, but a massive step-up from Conference to Premiership in just 3 seasons. Still, some players mature later than others and at 27 he would raise our average age up a notch.

Didn't Charlton sign him from Hayes and Yeading?

Read on VT that Westwood has tweated to say injury not as bad as first thought and just badly bruised

@ARWesty04: @Dazbedford1971 it's fine mate cheers pal a lot better than I first thought

Yes , good news !

Excellent. He can't play against Bradford and I'd rest him against Ipswich to hopefully get him ready for Southampton which is a massive game for us.

Or maybe Lescott to play and Roy "Dream Manager" Keane in Lambert's place. We can all dream

We can all dream of conceding less than two goals a game thanks to Mr Mumblypants and his brilliant "new direction", whatever that it, as well.

Constructive as usual at the moment I see.

Speaking of which, I had forgotten in the 4 months between the last one and this, the sheer madness of twitter when the window is open.

Reo-Coker, Hitzelsperger....
What is it with our obsession with our very average ex-players?
You do know that there's more than 4 full-time professional footballers worldwide right?
If we've already tried them and they weren't much good, why a few years later are they suddenly going to be the answer?

Bring Warnock back and all will be right with the world....apart from those comical own goals against QPR. And also being completely ripped to shreds by Nathan Dyer.

Anyone want the transfer window to slam shut already?
It already seems tedious and vulgar and that's before anythings even happened.

As it is imperative we buy some players... no.
