Played for Denmark's under 21's 5 times and made 17 first team appearances for Juventus when he played there. Would be an interesting signing and hopefully would tighten things up at the back.

Sounds interesting, any fee mentioned?

No fee mentioned, but he's co-owned so it shouldn't cost too much, i'd say about 2.5 million for the full transfer.

If we can shift Bent for £10m and a couple of others it should give us circa £25m to get some decent players in. That outlay will be a drop in the ocean compared to what we stand to lose if the worst happens. Time to be brave.

I would hope the club would not be stupid enough to sell Bent when we are the lowest scorers in the league.our main goal threat has gone off the boil and our other goal scorer still looks injured

Johnny Heitinga is unhappy at Everton & wants to move this January.  Just what we need to give our defence some exeperience.

Perhaps Lambert should give Johnaton Hogg a call.  Some of Zola's mercenaries/loanees at Watford have done very well this season - the centre forward Vydra in particular.  Would come cheaply with plenty of match fitness.
