If you think the crop of crap we signed last summer will be as good as the before mentioned you must have a screw loose somewhere.

Everyday it rains in your world.

'crop of crap is a bit much'. There are several very promising youngsters we've signed.

Benayoun has gone back to Chelsea so he might be worth a loan deal.

Isn't Benayoun just Steven Ireland with hair? I cant see the point, we've got the talented passers, we need experienced energetic players up front and in midfield.

Joleon Lescott, anyone? Experienced centre back. Would need to take a wage cut.

Press reports today saying city will sell lescott for £8m- would be a very good signing at that price .

And he supports the club doesn't he?

We need three or 4 players in, benayoun on a loan would be worth a shout, better attitude than Ireland in my opinion and a bit of creativity in him.

Yes he is a villa fan, uncle Harry likes him but hopefully he'd choose villa above qpr, if we wanted him.

Apparently so although you wouldn't know it from the way he celebrates every goal against us. He'd be a cracking signing mind.

I have him down as a fanny merchant, I reckon we'll need players with more character than him.

We wouldn't be signing him for his midfield grit we'd be signing him for his creativity, which is far, far superior to that fucking waste of space Ireland.

Perhaps this appalling season is just a bad dream then?

Not sure about Benayoun either. Has'nt really done anything in the last few seasons and he's not quite what we need anyway.

Maybe something could be done with Davies if Lambert is after him.

If you mean Kevin Davies than I think  he would be fantastic older head  with our kids. just think how much Benteke will learn  from him. However he is 35 now.

Lescott is reportedly on £90000 a week wages so I think he'd have to take quite a drop on that if we signed him, although given and Ireland both reportedly joined us on less wages than they were on at city.

Lescott would be a great signing.
