I would sooner, for 3 million, see Lambert dive back into Europe or the Championship/ league 1 for a target man back up than sign a 29 year old Morrison.

Strange as it sounds what about a Bid for Frank Lampard (if Chelski don't want him). He could sit in the middle of the park and encourage our younsters. Could be a good buy for one and a half seasons.

Lampard would be an excellent move, but is still way above coming to us. QPR in Jan would be my guess.

A worry with Lampard is his biggest strength was his stamina, which one'd expect to decline as he gets older.
Plus I suspect he'd want 3.5 years which would be quite a giant contract over the whole period.

I'd expect Lampard would still want big money and a reasonable length contract. It's a no from me based on value for money.
