Ince is going to them slightly on the cheap as they originally sold him and had a 35% sell on clause

We should take a punt on this kid. I'm sure he'd prefer B6 to Milan.

Well, I wouldn't mind that one. He seems to be some talent.

Talented kid. I hope the people around him keep him level headed.

Apparently Milan have been trying to get special dispensation to get him into the first team before he turns 16 next year as players can't play in Serie A if they are under 16.

PWS have to hope that skill is nit coached out of him too much.

Yep, he'd have to start from scratch.

what would everyone think to tim cahill on a short term loan?  He wants to come back to england (unlike keane) & i've always rated him. Would give us experience in the centre of the park and a threat at set pieces

Does he actually score goals anymore? He only scored one in the MLS season and that's hardly got a reputation as a hard league to score goals in.

Nor were his last couple of seasons at Everton prolific and he was virtually playing as a second striker for a lot of that.

I'm going to rule no thanks on Cahill.
Firstly, he's a busted flush. Secondly, I can't stand the twat.

Reminds me of jay jay okocha when he lit up the african nations as a 18-19 year old, lots of similar tricks and the same low centre of gravity.  In that tournament he looked for all the world like he'd play at the very highest level.  He still did well but that his best days were at Bolton suggests he never quite lived up to it.

Edit, just checked, it was march 94 so he'd have been 20.

Apparently (according to The Mail) we're keeping tabs on Iceland striker Alfreš Finnbogason who is smashing them in for Heerenveen and has a good record in general.
23, 6'2" currently being coached by the great van Basten. Sounds promising if I believed a word they said. It would fit Lambert's MO I have to say.

Strange place to keep tabs though. Usually it would be on a mantlepiece or in a coat pocket. Maybe a dashboard.
