I wonder if a loan for Marko Marin would be an idea. He's not getting his game at Chelsea, and every time I've seen him he's looked very dangerous and vibrant cutting in from the flanks - something we're really missing.

Not a bad shout.  I imagine he's on pretty big wages though.

Marin is a quality player and I'd love to have him on loan.

Dries Mertens has a great scoring record. Might be out of our league though?

I have thought there must be bargains in Spain, not sure who though. Imagine if we'd or michu for £2m!

I'd like a couple from Europe.
Maybe Belguim?
Some gems seem to be springing up from there.

Not so sure about there Lee.
in Italy for thirty years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock.

True, but when you say young you mean really, really young. Only Xherdan Shaqiri is old enough to make a real impact so far, and he's at Bayern.

That's not a reason not to buy them though.  Get em now whilst their cheap.  We can even send them back to switzerland to get match practice.

Oh absolutely, get them in while we can (in Benjamin Siegrist we meant to have one already). Just that Belgium might still be a better source of younger (youngish) players who can make a more immediate impact.

Was thinking exactly the same - the kind of player that could play anywhere across the line of 3 behind the striker, and being German he would have player this system for his entire life.

It's either Benteke or Lukaku on their own up front, no partner. The players he holds the ball up to include Mertens, Mirallas and Hazard, of whom Mertens might be the only realistic option.
