Anyone know any decent pubs to watch this in/near Camden?

Hop on a train at Euston and enjoy it under 2 hours later in 3D?

Good idea but might defeat the object of going from new street to Euston 3 hours earlier.... I'm stuck in London until the last train back, unfortunately.

I like the New Rose on Essex Rose for Sunday football.  Primarily because there are not too many football fans and they do a reasonable roast.

Cheers - Sunday roast sounds good.

As it's 2 midlands teams I'm a bit worried everywhere might have the Ryder Cup on...

The Clare Inn - in between Camden and Kentish town. A hidden gem of a pub.

Actaully managed to find a place in Thailand showing this match. Thank christ. Now I've just got to flock in with all the tourists at the Irish pub in town (Samui). (10pm k.o here).

Looking forward to it. Hoping it's not another down to earth special though because I don't want to get laughed all the way back to the hotel.

Think we'll win well though to be honest. If we can't beat this lot at home we may as well start booking travelodges in Nottingham, Blackpool etc for next year.

If Agbonlahor plays he should have a goodun I think.

Just came across this article and the title has certainly got me even more up for this game today:

Really hope we hammer them today.

Christ, everyone seems obsessed with this balance of power shift bollocks. As i've said before, in the last 30+ years they've finished above us once. They've won at VP once, they beaten us at their place once. Yeah, that's a real shift of power there. Fuck off and come back in 30 years when you've done it every year. Twats.

The Guardian is really annoying me at the moment. Everything they write is so intensely anti-Villa and talks about how Villa are a team in decline and that the world is ending for the Villa.

I wish that whinging horror rag would just naff off.

I quite like the Albion. They are never a threat to us, they usually roll over and give us 6 points a season or safe passage into the next round of the cup. They are in awe of Villa and dont even dare to argue about our respective 'powers'.
They know their place in the pecking order of midlands football, (a distant second behind Villa) and tend to beat our rivals when we need them to. (eg Ipswich in 81).
Of course this view may change if they dont play ball today and give up the 3 points on offer......  ::)

Can't wait for this! Today is the first time I'll get to use my season ticket due to being on holiday and a wedding.

Looking forward to seeing Villa Park, picking up a copy of H&V, walking up the steps if the Holte and walking out to see the pitch. It is then, at about 4:03, I wonder what the hell I'm doing back and I get depressed...or maybe not this time! Come on Villa. Time to show me what you're capable of. I haven't seen us win for a very, very long time.

Somebody must be editing my copy before I get to read it because I can't say i've noticed. Having said that my local newsagent is a Villa fan so...
