If you look at the pundits on MotD most of them, when having a bash at management, have been a joke. Lawrenson and Shearer being the two prime examples, add to that jokers like Savage it shows the lack of knowledge or management talent they have. I've given up worrying about what other people think of us and just pleased to see us playing positive football again.

Exactly. Most of us know way more about our club, and to be honest other clubs too, than the lazy, cliched bollocks most TV pundits come out with. Lawrenson's a joke, how is he still in a job?

I'm enjoying this season already, and I think it will get better as we got more consistency. Who can honestly say how we'll play on Sunday? Will we be good, will we be shite? I haven't got a clue

I think Mancini has a point about Managers when they go to Old Trafford. However, Sir Alex has built respect over a long time. How often does the commentator tell us that A bottle of red will be shared at the end of the game. Ferguson is in a different league when it comes to playing the game.

Mancini was just deflecting the fans attention away from a poor performance by having a dig at their most hated rivals.

Here is a half rant, what was your comment on the "not dull" thread about me and my pals at the club about?

I am not looking for a fight, and won't reply until tomorrow on account of being busy, but was a bit perplexed Dante, I must say.

This is going to make even less sense now as I cannot remember the exact quotes but I was basically enquiring whether you had heard inside gossip that Lambert was “doing a things properly*” as previously you seem to be one of the few with a “bat phone” to the inner sanctum at villa.

* insert correct quote here.  Certainly no offence intended, it was a compliment if anything.

My contact at VP reckons he has heard that PL is a 'right bastard', discipline-wise.

Is there anyone else on here who remembers the early days of Ron Saunders reign and like me is having a dose of deja vu?

Never when they're losing would be my guess.

If Claire Balding was doing match of the day she'd probably have a go at someone's teeth

A rollercoaster without ups and downs is just a minature railway.

most sensible thing you've ever posted...excluding spelling ;)

Perhaps Mr W meant a minotaur railway - now that I would like to see.
