also guys anyone remember sheff utd away in about 76-77 they let you in easy enough they being no where to be seen but coming out we was directed to a massive traffic island then they come at us from all sides literally toe to toe over the railings it was like the five fingers in gangs of new york.
I prefer Norwich to their Suffolk rivals. I remember that last day game in 1995 when we stayed up, they were already doomed. Both sets of fans sung "Chase out" in tribute to their hated Chairman. Also, sang "Were meet again," all good fun.
I had a feeling that day was going to go badly right from the off, when we artfully wrote ASTON VILLA across the middle section of a (really thin material) Union Jack we'd found somewhere, to take with us, only to lift it up and see that my mate's mom now had a lovely table with "ASTON VILLA" written on it in permanent marker pen, as it had gone through the flag.

On here, Chico used to do my head in by annually starting a Memories thread about it. If ever there was a Villa game I want to forget more than any other, it was this one. It was utter, utter shite.
I was actually with JH , I knew him from the odd trip on the Sutton coach , there was bit of banter but most of us knew him well , he was not to be trifled with if he did not know you , and I think it was more about us giving the gaffer a bit of grief over afters .good lad JH , could curdle milk with his sourpuss at times
I seem to remember that after the semi at Oxford we had to file out of the away end through a narrow alleyway a couple at a time which made it easy for the home fans to get a few digs in.
We were on the Sutton coach to Anderlecht. Did you go with them on that one?yes , the nightclub incident with the belgian squaddies , never made it back to the hotel and slept in the stock exchange , some funny moments on the ferry , Dave the Punk , Mad Tony , all the Falcon Lodge lot , great trip , we were on the scum of brum side which was amusing .Pricey had the patience of Jobe . have loads of pics from the ferry , stock exchange , and various other incidents .going through London and the Sun had printed the cartoon over the Falklands ,
