I cor help but like him and want to do okay, whether for us or someone else.

I think with all honesty its because he's a nice looking chap that people may want him to do well.

A more likely explanation is that he always tries his best which has been appreciated by Villa fans since I started going in 1966. Before somebody says isn't this the case for all fans, I would say not and resoundingly so in the case of Spurs, for example.

Never thought he was good enough from his early games like Fulham away and Norwich at home which was a total car crash. Even in his early games  he kept on getting injured aswell which was a theme.

On the other hand I liked Lowton and thought he was someone who could be worked on but ultimately his lack of recovery pace meant this level was probably a bit beyond him.

I haven't seen him at all in the Burnley squad so far, is he injured?

I know you like him. Probably the quiff reminds you of James Dean.

I'm surprised Boro haven't come back for him. He was highly regarded there.

He wasn't really regarded that well up there to be honest. My family is from Middlesbrough and they always said he wasn't good enough.
Saying that I like him for some reason, if you could get him really confident, I think he could be ok.

If you could get him confident, he'd be confident.  Still crap at football though.

Not that highly regarded, a mate of mine from Redcar reckoned Friend who they replaced him with was better anyway.

Bournemouth lost two left-backs to injury at the weekend and sign Joe Bennett on loan as a result.

At least we know who to target when we play them. Traore against Bennett = red card within the hour.

I doubt if he would be eligible to play against us as it is a loan deal.

Ughh, good point. I'd have written it into the loan that he could.

According to the rolling Sports Bar on BT Sport, Bennet signed a one year extension before going out on loan.
Not seen that reported elsewhere.
