Academy

NORTEI NORTEY?!  Is he the son of Ebeneezer Goode?!

What a fantastic name, just for that I hope he makes it.

A proper player, apparently. According to Danny Dyer.

Shame that we couldn't keep Anderlecht for the semi-final.

Think their match with Olympiacos is tomorrow.

Olympiacos and Anderlecht - from the NextGen website:-

This season all the new teams seemed to outdo expectations, but perhaps the ones that stand out are these two. Olympiacos managed to finish top of an extremely competitive group featuring Arsenal, Marseille and Athletic Club, thanks largely to their organised defence.

It was another outstanding left-back, Charalambos Lykogiannis, who was crucial to this. The 19-year-old, known as Lykos (wolf), was brought in to shore up the Greek side’s defence after their 4 – 0 loss to Athletic Club, since then they have conceded just one. The support of Karagounis and Vouros has also been instrumental and Anderlecht will have a task on their hands trying to score here. Olympiacos’ only cause for slight concern may be their lack of goals, having scored just four so far.

Anderlecht’s defence has also proven vital to their success; they have conceded only six despite having played: Barcelona, Tottenham and Wolfsburg each twice; Olympiacos will have to deliver quality up front. Centre-back Michael Heylen seldom lets a forward get the better of him, and has impressed throughout with performances such as their 1 - 1 draw away to Barcelona (click for highlights). Up front the Belgian side have threats in Dendoncker and Kabasele who can stretch defences.
