They had three shots all game and scored from two of them. Villa dominated throughout and were only kept at bay by a mini version of Joe Hart who had a stormer.

SHA U-11s v Aston Villa U-11s

7-a-side Game 1: 2-1
9-a-side Game 1: 3-6
7-a-side Game 2: 3-7
9-a-side Game 2: 0-4

It may be my imagination, but we often seem to lose the first game then cream the opposition in the next 2 or 3.

I assume the SHA scores are the first quoted.

Yes. The matches were played alongside eachother on two pitches.

Just read on the OS that only the North Stand upper will be open for the Olympiakos Nextgen game.

Seems a bit odd, always used to be the trinity lower for reserve/youth games.

So where is the atmosphere going to come from then? Surely the lower Holte and lower Trinity would be best for the young lads. The upper North is a stupid decision imv.

I was told today that Olympiacos have a planeload of supporters flying over.

Everton U21 1-0 Villa U21 - 60 mins: Villa made a brighter start to the second period with Graham Burke hitting a half-volley just over from Josh Barton's cutback. But the hosts came back strongly yet again. Two more terrific saves from Brad Watkins to deny Vellios and McAleny.

Everton U21 2-1 Villa U21 - GOAL - 70 mins: Game on! Hope for Villa thanks to a great goal from Daniel Johnson. The midfielder reacted quickest to a hopeful ball forward before converting a powerful drive from just inside the box.

The game against Olympiacos is tonight at 7pm and may be on Eurosport.

Do wonder if they might have nearly as many fans at this as us.

Can we just use our season tickets to go through the door? We're in the North Stand for this one?
