So that is an average of £50m per season per club. Astonishing numbers.

How much does an average Championship club get? It would have gone a long way to solving SHA's financial problems

70% increase on the old deal.
Players and agents will be rubbing their hands together with glee.

I didn't realize BT had their own television channels.

BT Vision - over broadband. Sky are more scared of rivalry from BT than they are from Virgin

Won't make any difference to us. It's not going to make it any more affordable to go to the games. It's just a pay rise for the players.

They would have to if they actually want to get people to subscribe monthly for their channel to generate more revenue knowing that majority of people have Sky or Freeview (or Virgin if you're an idiot lol).

If they didnt it wouldn't make any sense on their behalf.

BT should give us loyal broadband customers free access to the games.

ESPN are a huge corporation owned predominantly by Disney.Pretty sure if they wanted to they could have had the rights.

I get that the game is popular on tv abroad but in this country?!

That's insane money that will kill off the real fans even more.

Asking a stupid question here but doesn't this affect the new fair play rules?  Another bumper pay day for clubs in the premier league, doesn't it make the new FFP rules redundant?  Can someone explain please.
