Extremely disrespectful way for the chairman of a promoted club to speak.  Not that I'm surprised considering who it is, of course!

I'm going to spend the afternoon practising my booing
I'm really pissed off now. Lambert moves the dug out to being in front of where we used to sit. Now we are over the other side, he will never hear me booing above the din of the away fans.

Can I just be the first to say that I can't see where we're going to get the next 40 points from. We are definitely right in it now, etc.

Well done cackbeard. You lost 3-0 a couple of seasons ago so now you're looking to reverse the score. 0-3 it is then.

The only time I want to read or hear anything about Gold is with a paragraph containing the words.....beer, helicopter, bottle, mangled, hit, wreckage.

If we're not on telly again on Boxing Day I'll eat my hat and everybody else's.
You may find mine a bit tough and rather filling.

I reckon gregnash will reappear on here in December, that's when he will deem the honeymoon well and truly over for Lambert despite an unbeaten start to the season it will be a defeat to Chelsea that will cause him such glee.

From the BBC website:

West Ham chairman David Gold is excited about the Hammers' prospects after the release of the fixtures for 2012-13. "Look at my stupid beardy face.  Don't you want to punch my stupid beardy face.  My face is made for punching."

From the BBC website:

West Ham chairman David Gold is excited about the Hammers' prospects after the release of the fixtures for 2012-13. "It's going to be extremely exciting. The last time we played Villa on the first day two years ago they beat us 3-0 so we're looking forward to reversing that score. It's important to get off to a good start - we lost the first four games two years ago against big clubs but home to Villa and away to Swansea are winnable games, or games you would expect to get something from."

The likes of Carlton Cole and Mark Noble have got me quaking in my boots even at this early stage. Six points a cert for the kit stealers with that sort of pedigree

West Ham utd are a massive club run by very shrewd and highly respected owners. Their charismatic and likable manager gets them playing marvelous free flowing football so I expect we're in for a right thrashing.

We don't have a good record away to newly promoted teams early in the season.

Portsmouth springs to mind and more recently Newcastle (shudder!)

Don't forget they won the world cup too and invented the 'West Ham way of playing' - attractive for about three years out of the last thirty but with absolutely bog all end product. They also produced in Trevor Brooking the man with the most annoying voice in football outside of Alan Curbishley and Alan Smith (ex Palace, not the Sky/Arsenal/Villa supporting one!)
