Most of the goals I remember best have already been mentioned like Tony Morley's against Everton and Berlin, Alan McInally's against Millwall, Dalian's at Wimbledon and Deano's against Ipswich. One that always seems to be forgotten as it was during the grim times of 1986 is Steve Hunt and Simon Stainrod in a game against Leicester at Villa Park combining at a free kick not unlike the famous old Ernie Hunt and Willie Carr Coventry goal.

This is one of my favourite goals ever, Ronnie Radford's against Newcastle, and I love that it still gets dug out every year in the FAC coverage.

This is 1970s football encapsulated in one clip - the shitty state of the pitch, the less than athletic looking scorer, the kids in parkas and duffel coats bursting onto the pitch as it hits the net. Absolutely everything about it is brilliantly evocative of the era.

I really liked being locked in the car park after the game for an hour and a half !! While the knuckle draggers were doing their cavemen impressions outside. What a shithole that place truly is.

We didn't get locked in on the 09 game.  I think we did on the 07 game and the CC game last year, but the only 2 times I been we walked straight out. With WMP last time bumbing me into the crowds of Blose fans that had just been screeching zulu whilst the Villa fans carried on down the other road

That through ball from Shaw is among the best you'll ever see. The weight on it is perfect, and the replay view just shows the space he gave Mortimer to run with. Taking nothing away from our Dennis (we've seen many a Villa striker bottle a one-on-one) but he even looks surprised to have that much room.

It was a very good goal. I do think you could have driven a bus - and a pretty wide one at that - through that Liverpool defence though!
