PWS - Hogg is doing well at Pompey (I think). I realise they're not spoiled for choice but didn't I read on here that he won Player of the Year?

Doyle, Coleman and Mclean have shown that singing League of Ireland players can be a shred move. I really wish the notion that players of 21, 22, 23 etc have potential. They have potential at 16, 17, 18. By the time they get to 21 they should have made the grade or not. They aren't kids anymore!

A very good piece in the mirror (ahem) to get the old expectation rising.http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/james-nursey-reckons-aston-villa-866222

I like details like that. Its the sort of thing that would never have crossed TSM's mind for instance. I liked when MON had the big daft Recaro seats torn out of the dugouts because he didnt want his subs feeling comfortable. This may be nothing more than a microscopic edge but it all adds up. Also, a change is as good as a rest.
I don't know if it has been mentioned but the new manager wants to swop the dugouts around so that the home one is nearer to the Holte.A very small, some would say insignificant move, but a clever one in my opinion. Reminds me of something Sir Graham would've done, it's the attention to detail. A work colleague has asked why they are in the position they are at the moment, is there a reason why the visitors are nearer to the home end? Is there a story behind this and moreover, does anyone care?
