It's been done.Depends on the spin the news channels put on it. I can see Sky showing the 5 and saying that shows how fickle the fans are. Whereas Central might have the camera in with them to give the impression of lots.

500 or so can seem big if the cameras shoot it right
Forgive my cynicism but... aren't we in danger of looking a bit 'Geordie'? Encouraging lots of people to hang about outside an empty stadium ready to welcome the latest messiah for the tv cameras.
As for the day it is on, I don't really see an issue, it is bank holiday and Lambert will have a lot to sort with his family, talk to Culverhouse and Karsa, and get ready to move.

Sorry, I have been out the loop. Is it confirmed that Culverhouse and Karsa are coming, or do we find out tomorrow?

Liverpool and Newcastle folk are very passionate about the game whereas Birmingham folk less so? - Having lived and worked in Brum for 30+ years and now Merseyside 17+ years there is a discernible difference between the cities in their expression of fondness for the game and their clubs. Its generally a topic introduced into many a conversation - when I lived in Brum it was less the case.Kinda reminds me of when Brum was going for the Olympics and most people I spoke with couldn`t care less..I am a Brummie and proud of it - but we just don`t get too excited do we ?
