Lets hope RL and PF have used this OGS thing as a smoke screen to get someone we hadnt even thought of that can sort us out and will excite us.

There's a lot of people who rely on some pretty crazy cloak and dagger stuff going on round here.

Part of being a Villa fan unfortunately

Another day of guess work and gossip. I hope we dont make a pigs ear of this situation like we did last time. Straw/ Camels back springs to mind at the moment. No nasty surprises again please Mr Lerner.

If he had signed a contract extension then it would be on the Molde website, and it isn't.

Only a matter of time before bob bradley is evens i reckon. :/

I dont think even PF could get away with unveiling Bob Bradley after categorically stating we were looking for someone young and vibrant

did he say young? I know he said vibrant but that means exactly nowt to me. I'm struggling to think of any managers i'd describe as vibrant.
Walter Smith. His sausages and pork pies are very good also.

Anyone capable of appointing Alex McLeish is liable to do something just as stupid with the next Manager's appointment. Why is the Villa board so shit at decisions and pisses off the fans all the time? It's always has to be negative news that comes out - great drive for pushing up season ticket sales. The club is a PR disaster. Lerner and Faulkner OUT!!!

What was all that shite with Kendrick giving us a link to an A-HA song via his twitter yesterday. Looks like he hasn't a clue as well as Jan Age Fjorttoft.
Another fcuking press conference for this afternoon up in Molde. If someone farts up there they must hold a press conference for it.

I know all this is coming from a Brian Doogan quote to a Norwegian media source. Would the main AVFC site not have updated us at this stage to concur with what Doogan said last night. This is straw clutching I know.....

Why should the AVFC site update us on anything other than notification of a press conference (meaning an imminent appointment) or the appointment itself?
We have done 200 pages of speculation here and its been frustrating, funny, and fun in equal measure.

Randy Lerner and Villa officials will come in for flak for how this appears to be conducted and some will say it wouldnt have been like with Doug Ellis.
The fact that we can click away to try and pick up little snippets of real or imagined information shows how much things have changed since Dougs day. I mean we were virtually tracking by the minute the manager of a Norwegian league side getting on an internal flight and arriving for dinner just outside Oslo with his existing employer!

I am sure many past searches for a manager ( at all clubs) have had just as many up and downs. It was just that we would only hear about part of it through the TV and newspapers the next day. Then when it was sorted we were pretty much all left with our own thoughts at home or until we could talk about it with your mates in the pub.

Very good or award winning? Is there a butcher anywhere in the UK that doesn't produce award winning sausages or pies? I would like the answer by 5.00pm please.

For it to be valid, they need to have been in business since Lee Longlands sale started.

According to the agreement, Solskjær has agreed to ... commit himself to Molde FK for the 2012 and 2013 seasons, according to a report in the Dagbladet daily.

Solskjær is however reported to have secured a clause in the agreement that were Manchester United to come calling he would be allowed to leave in 2012. Furthermore the young coach would be allowed to speak with Premier League clubs next season on the proviso that financial compensation would be forthcoming.

Kjell Inge Røkke, together will fellow investor Bjørn Rune Gjelsten, have in return promised to stump up 10 million kroner to strengthen Molde FK's squad, according to Dagbladet.

Molde FK have announced that they will hold a press conference at 5pm on Wednesday to clarify the situation regarding the club, the investors and their sought after young manager.

"No enquiries will be answered before the press conference," the club declared in a statement on Wednesday morning.
