Right I said yesterday I believed it would be lambert after being told by someone very itk  we had spoken  with him, I then heard from the same person it was going to be unlikely to be lambert and it would be ole- now ole has pulled out will we go back to lambert or will he pull out too?

Who knows what will happen now- one thing for sure lambert was not the 1st choice but I hope he gets the job.

Others claim he was made an offer and decided to stay.

Ok it's twitter but this is what's being said.

There you go. Ole WON'T become Aston Villa's next manager, but he WAS offered a deal. After talks with Røkke and his agent, they pulled out.

I took it for granted that Ole would accept it when he was offered that deal. Mistake on my part, I guess, but it seemed an easy decision..

Røkke has, most definitely, promised Ole a shitload of money to bring in new players before the Champions League qualification starts.
