Dramatic development in Molde. The owner, Rökke, very angry because of Solskjær s trip to England. Withdrawing all his support and money

Jan Aage Fjortoft ‏@JanAageFjortoft
The fight between Rökke and Solskjær here in Norway is like David Beckham and Sir Alex Ferguson s fight some years ago.Just missing the shoe

& he is, by the way "Retired footballer. Anchor on TV and Entrepreneur now. Tweets in english - just a few in norwegian."

Sounds pretty crazy right now for Molde.
This Rokke bloke sounds like a right proper fucktard.

someone is being economical with the truth though. You don't normally attended an 'interview' with your wife and agent justfor an informal chat and apparently, his agent is still here.

Didn’t someone say ages ago that they knew the man they wanted but had to “wait”, leading to the RDM and anyone in the playoffs rumours.  Ole could fit into that category too and Villa want to do the right thing by Molde.

Lets face it, Villa did not reveal this to the press as far as I am aware.  It was as a result of identifying his plane.

Dave W. I think...

@TimothyAbraham: Just spoke to a colleague in Norway. It's all kicking off at Molde by the sounds of it - internal strife. Fascinating day. #AVFC

The Aston Villa board has embarked upon an interview process which will lead to the appointment of a new manager.

This process will be focused and consistent with the board's objectives which are to secure a manager who can help to reinvigorate the club and bring some vibrancy back to Villa.

We are aware that certain individuals have been linked with our managerial vacancy but, out of respect to all potential candidates and any clubs they may currently be employed by, we will not discuss specific individuals by name.

We will update supporters when we have more news.

So he has been interviewed then, not such an informal chat after all.

That's actually a good point, hadn't noticed that. I also don't think Molde's investors would be so bent out of shape if it was just a chat.
Interview PROCESS is the keyword in that statement...where does it state that an "interview process" cant consist of informal chats, formal interview and negotiations particulalry when there a number of candidates to speak to. Do you really want them to offer the job to the first person they speak to???

You are right, Process is the key word there, but you dont send a private jet for a candidate and his wife, just to invite him to an interview...
You do if you are a multi-millionaire with a very tight time window to meet and speak to one of the candidates for a high profile job appointment especially if he currently resides in another country. Obviously it may have been quite impressive too from OGS point of view for Randy to do this for him and his wife.

I would say today was interview one, so its either a case of we will be in touch or interview two is early next week.

OGS appears to have pissed off the powers that be at Molde FK

Chairman Øystein Neerland says that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's conduct in relation to Aston Villa has been a disappointment for the club.

Neerland confirms that the club was informed about the contact with the Premier League club, but are not satisfied with the way the case has been handled.

- We were made aware of the interest and the conversations, but it was still a disappointment that he chose to travel to England on Friday to face Aston Villa now, says Neerland to Romsdals Budstikke.

- It is fair to say that this has been a disappointing day. This we would like to do without, says Leif-Arne Langøy Molde Football.

- Considering no termination. Neerland states that the club reacts to that Solskjaer before departure failed to respond to specific questions from the MFK is the intent of the talks in Birmingham.

- It seems we do not know anything about. The trust is put to the test, and we have to get back again before we work on. We expect that there will be a constructive conversation with Ole Gunnar Saturday, said Neerland.

- Have MFK considered Solskjaer position after what happened the last few days?

- No, it has not been an issue on the board. Now we will take this worry within the club and explore the situation. So we will work hard on to focus on the sport. There are three important games before the holiday and the first is already Sunday, says Øystein Neerland.

Lars Tjærnås think Villa-job may be too tempting for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to stay in Molde.

Earlier this week kicked Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish, and now they have jumped on the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as possible substitutes.

Molde management confirmed earlier today that Aston Villa have been given permission to talk to Molde manager - who thus may be the next commander in Birmingham club.

But 100% Sports expert, Lars Tjærnås, I think the list is high that Solskjaer leaves Molde now - and that Villa's management has a job to do to convince him.

- The offer from Aston Villa can be too tempting not to jump on, but I think it is an important prerequisite for Solskjaer says yes: He must be convinced by Randy Lerner (Aston Villa owner) that it is funding and backing to he can realize the ambitions of the owner , said Tjærnås to adressa.no.

Tjærnås believe there are other things Solskjaer must be verified before taking the job in England.

- He must be convinced that this is a long term project, and that he has the freedom and backing to form the club, not only shape the team. Then it may become a reality, and for Norwegian football, there will obviously be phenomenal, even though people in Molde do not feel that way right now, he said.

But Tjærnås are not convinced that Solskjaer disappears.

- He could have chosen differently before he moved home and have always been firm that this is and was a choice for a long time - both for its own and the family part. I see him as a lagbygger, a person who keep their word and are committed to building a foundation over time. He has a free hand to Molde. Moreover, it is tempting to see if he can take this project one step further in Europe.

- On the way, he's still a chance to achieve a further improvement in the job he has. All this suggests that it takes a lot for that he chooses something else, says Tjærnås.

Aware that Aston Villa might be just, this is "very much".

- The time of taking over is perfect. Aston Villa is a "sleeping giant" with a large pent potential. The new manager coming in is almost certainly a journey. That way he gets the experience from a tough league, while almost certainly even a "gold star" on your CV.

Sjur Hogne Bakke lives in Molde and cheering at Aston Villa. Too bad for the Molde for Solskjaer go but good for Aston Villa, he said

Supporter Sjur Hogne Bakke believe and hope He will the club's new manager.

Bakke, who has been with the Birmingham club since the early 1980's, is excited about MFK manager is presented Aston Villa's new manager in the near future. After a leaden sporting year, with a coach who never catch on with fans, he says Solskjaer had been a great person to get into the club.

- After a terrible time with Alex McLeish, who took away all the good that Martin O 'Neill had added the club had Solskjaer been an interesting man for Villa. He had been a good symbol for a new start, a new era of proactive thinking and fresh ideas, says Bakke Rbnett.

Solid Youth Academy
He is impressed with the manager has achieved in MFK since he took over the club, and have been particularly impressed with the work he has done with the young players.

- Solskjaer has shown an ability to get the best out of their players, especially the young. It's perfect for Aston Villa, which has one of the best youth academies in England , he said.

For the time being, it is unclear whether Solskjaer continues in MFK or end up in the Premier League, but the gut feeling of Bakke says that he changes pastures.

- It's a shame for the MFK, but great for Villa, he said.

Surprised by the interest
Chairman of Aston Villa supporter, Thor Karlsen Skjelstad, has received many calls about the club's interest Solskjaer-the last day. He admits he was surprised.

- I must say I was little with my pants down. I had not believed that this would happen, but it can be exciting , he said.

If Solskjaer would end up in the Birmingham club, Skjelstad think he will be well received by fans.

- I'm pretty sure. It can not be a worse year than we have just had, and I'm sure he would never jump on something like that if he did not feel ready for the task, he said.

- Given their little finger
At the moment Aston Villa Supporters Club of Norway about 450 members. If the former storscoreren and Champions League hero from Kristiansund taking over the club, think Skjelstad there are many more Norwegian supporters.

- It can make a great impact on the interest, yes. Solskjaer has a bit of a name here in Norway , he said.

Currently awaiting the Chairman in anticipation for what's going on.

- When the aircraft come and fetch him, he must have given them little finger. Otherwise they could not, he concludes.

Latest news now is that the plane took off from Kvernberget has landed in Birmingham.
