Rodgers ain't going to come here if he has said no to Liverpool, and Martinez clearly has his eggs in that basket. If they don't roost, do we want him still?

If Rodgers has refused to talk to Liverpool you can discount him joining us and Martinez will wait until Liverpool make their mind up..........

Perhaps Rodgers might see us as a good intermediate club to gain more experience before joining the big boys. I have always felt Martinez was awaiting an approach from a bigger club than Villa sadly.

Quote:
"Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has not hidden the fact that one day he could think of returning to England. Nevertheless, Aker is surprising that he dropped Friday's workout, and headed to England in public for informal talks with Aston Villa before the three major league games in a week, "writes Aker in the press release.

I think bridges might have been burnt at Molde now.

Rokke was the nasty bugger who owned Wimbledon when they relocated to Milton Keynes.

If Martinez and Rodgers are ignorant enough not to see us as a big team them fcuk them.

If OGS sees us as a challenge to put us back near the top - I'm happy for him to be given a chance.

If we refer to him as OGS he'll get on well with Dunne as scores lots of them!

Rogers is only 39 himself, he may feel it's too early to join a club like Liverpool, he's got time on his side. Us on the other hand might suit him a bit better at this point. All that said, i'm not convinced he's the right man but the board might think differently.

Not sure i would be happy with solskjaer, might be good if we keep our options open. Managers who have years of experience in the premier league struggle to get ahead in this league.

I wouldn`t be unhappy either though, i wanted a young manager who plays the passing game, but i would prefer martinez.

Obviously i would get behind him 100% if he came, i would be cautiously happy.

After his 2005 conviction for corruption involving the illegal purchase of a boat licence, Røkke served 24–25 days of a 120-day sentence in Hof Prison, and was subsequently released on parole.
