I had my doubts 2 days ago but after considering it im starting to come around to having him in charge.

Its been posted here once or twice but this vid of him does him justice.

I always put myself in a players shoes and think would he inspire me, would I become a better player...and after watching that I can only say probably a thousand times more than McLeish ever would!

Oh, lovely scenery around the stadium...

Molde Football Club is aware of interest and contact from Aston Villa, and is aware that Aston Villa and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are talking together.

That's from their club site.

We could have Stan and Ole in charge if Petrov were given a coaching role.........
I very much doubt he'll will be back anytime soon, especially as he has an incredible battle on his hands.

i dont think you quite got the pun.

The Gollum nickname should be reserved for Moyes, surely?

A yes from me only if (i) a DoF is also incoming with a more established network and (ii) he is given support to build a team with relatively good investment (and not lumbered with sorting more crap out - which can be done by the DoF).

I'm excited by what he can bring but he's a very young manager and will need some support so he can focus on team affairs while he increases his experience.   Young players will relish playing under OGS (a requirement on one of my previous posts).

It has the potential to go either way.  I think it will be a good move especially if we can get someone like Ray Wilkins to work with him.

A page or two back it was aksed if Randy and Faulkner came up with Ole's name themselves, and someone said Klinsman was believed to have had an input.

Very possible, but I wonder if Commolli was involved also?  He was reported to be speaking to the club, and was at the Spurs game, but they've now said they won't be employing a DOF.  So perhaps he was acting as a consultant in regards to a new manager?

If I was on that plane I'd make sure I was just finishing a big shit as we flew over the DW stadium enroute to BHX hitting flush at just the right time to drop a big hot steaming number 2 in the Wigan centre circle, have that Whelan.
